"Big Badlands Overlook"

The Badlands National Park includes spectacular layered rock and steep canyons formed by erosion. This photograph shows the Big Badlands Overlook. The overlook point has a bench for sitting which is enclosed in fencing and can be seen at the upper right of the photo. The bench and fence provide a sense of scale for the huge rock layers and steep canyons in this area.
